The new Marmolada

Marmolada's recent, innovative changes draw inspiration from Mr Costamoling Hansi's love for fossils and his mountains, which he explored and knew like the back of his hand. One day, while on an excursion with his brother Willy, he made a significant discovery at 2800 metres and found the remains of the "Ursus Ladinicus". Also known as the "Ladin bear" until then had been an unknown species.

Although Hansi left us 20 years ago, these renovations are inspired by his passion, that Iwan keeps alive thanks to this important restoration.

The new rooms

Twenty-one brand new rooms were designed, and represent the blissful marriage of modernity and a perfect South Tyrolean style. Each room bears the name of a fossil in honour of Mr Costamoling Hansi and his passion for potholing.The Dolomites still hide many secrets among the ancient stratifications.

The new wellness section

Expanded and renovated, the new wellness section covers an area of 800 m2. The wellness sector has been completely redesigned and features a charming grotto with hydromassage tub overlooking the Sassongher.
The new swimming pool

The 90 m2 natural stone swimming pool is characterised by a unique and innovative design and boasts a peculiar eco-naturalistic ceiling. The surrounding space was strategically arranged for guests to enjoy peaceful moments of complete relaxation.
The new restaurant

The restaurant is divided into 4 Stuben with a traditional South Tyrolean décor. Thanks to the new spacious central buffet, guests can enjoy unforgettable breakfasts and dinners with delicious local products and a wide choice of local and international wines.
The new lounge

Guests are welcomed into the new lounge, a perfect example of how interior design can influence how we feel. The project was designed to create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere from the very beginning.
The new wine cellar

The Costamoling Family's great passion for oenology led to the creation of a beautiful new wine cellar, where guests can taste local wines and discover world-renowned labels. In addition, a new generation wine cellar, will excited the senses of every wine lover.
